hi! i'm angie, your chief joy officer

My Family. My Why.

My Family. My Why.

So here's the deal... until recently, i didn't even know what I wanted to be when I 'grew up'!

Is this you too?  I'm not surprised.  I'm approaching middle age, married for over 11 years and raising two young children.  I've been a practicing attorney for 12 years and although I love the law and especially love that I get to work 1:1 with clients in difficult circumstances, I've always wondered what else was out there for me. Becoming a mother changed me. It changed you too, beautiful. But society does not fully prepare us for the fact that when we become mothers, we enter a developmental stage which may cause great turmoil, kind of like adolescence does, and may last for years to come. Yes, you read that right. When we become mothers, in whichever way we arrive at that role, we enter what is called Matrescence. A confusing, overwhelming, amazing, and wonderful stage of our lives. But we need to know about it, and we need to be able to feel supported throughout it. And that’s where I come in.

When my daughter, was born in 2015, I started thinking more and more about my legacy as a woman and mom. After her first birthday I discovered the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), pretty much serendipitously, and something pushed me to really quickly make the decision to enroll in the program to become a Certified Professional Coach.  From the very beginning I knew I wanted to coach mamas.  I had been kinda casually doing so for some time by then, and I thought with the right training I could be doing so much more, so why not?  So I went for it and after an arduous program of study and practice that took me close to 1 year I obtained my certification.  All while juggling my full-time job and my roles as mom, wife, daughter, friend… you know how it goes!

You are a WOMAN and a MOM.  And you can be both, to your highest potential, even if it's sometimes hard to imagine that.  I'm here to tell you that you have nothing to fear, and you can make no mistakes.  It's time to let go of the shackles of self-judgment, comparison, and mom guilt that are preventing you from fully and authentically loving your life to the fullest.  It's time to start getting to know the YOU that you are now, to learn how to listen for your life purpose and to embrace the journey to live it, becoming more confident, happier and the best version of you along the way.

Everything about your journey is a learning opportunity.  And guess what?  I'm not just a natural, but also well trained at helping you realize all of that AND holding your hand as you find all of your personal answers.  Because there is only ONE you, and your wonderful self is important to this world. When you step into a partnership with me as your coach, you start to discover your Self and you learn to connect with HER and embrace her for the amazing woman and mom she is.  And then nobody will be able to stop you from achieving your goals and realizing your dreams.

Don't get me wrong, it's all up to you, but in partnership with me, it will all start falling into place, as long as you are committed and all in.  By the way... be ready to get silly and have a blast... because that's what kinda gal and coach I am and we shouldn't have it any other way! XOXO

As a parent and someone who loves to please people, sometimes I forget about what is more important to me. These past months have been about true inner discovery, figuring out my priorities, and finding balance.

The first things I noticed from our first talk is her transparency, honesty, and kindness. I’m grateful to call Angie my Life Coach and friend.
